Concrete activities

Coffee card

What?

An activity where members of a group strengthen their cooperation with another group through individual relationships across the groups.

Why?

When outreach is needed.

The activity provides an opportunity to create an informal conversation, expand your network and thereby break down and eliminate any barriers.

How?

Design a homemade coffee clip card for each member of your own group and instruct them to use a clip per cup of coffee (or whatever) they can get a member from another group to drink together. Possibly create a competition about who can 'use' the clips on the map first.

It may be relevant as a first step to identify relationships and the importance of these, in order to then put it into a system.

Who?

The activity can be performed by everyone in a group (at all organizational levels).

It may be important that the managers take the lead and in this way legitimize that this becomes part of the culture.

In order for the employees themselves to be able to do this, it is important that the managers set the framework and set the activity in motion.

Network

What?

An intensive investment in creating better networks from your own group to others.

Why?

When there is a need to create personal contact and lay the foundation for a professional relationship.

How?

Map your current network. Discuss where you could benefit from having more and new connections. Dedicate resources and commit to each other to create new desired connections.

Pick up the tab yourself and initiate initiatives within your own area, as well as use the existing offers your organization offers.

Who?

The activity can be performed by everyone in a group (at all organizational levels).

Some activities may require a budget to be approved by management.
